An Overview of Georgetown University
Georgetown University, founded in 1789, is a highly regarded private academic and research
institution. Notably, the university was founded as Georgetown College. It is
the country's first Catholic and Jesuit educational institution. The Middle
States Commission on Higher Education has approved the university. It has over
300 international collaborations, including Fudan University and Sophia
University. Today, it is one of the world's leading universities, providing

The
university has three campuses in the city and is located on the outskirts of

University's campus is near the beautiful Potomac River, just minutes from
downtown Washington, D.C.

SAT, Georgetown is unlikely to have a hard ACT cutoff, but if you score too
low, your application will be rejected.
