CBSE Class 10th Results Likely to Be Released On 4th July, Class 12th On 10th July

The long wait for the CBSE results is about to come to an end. As per sources, the Central Board of Secondary Education will be releasing the class 10th board results on 4th July 2022 and the class 12th results on 10th July 2022. While majority of the Indian boards have already released their results, the delay in the CBSE results has impacted several admission processes in the country

The CBSE had decided to break the exam into two parts (Term 1 & Term 2) which made the process more complex and time consuming with students having to give two sets of pre-boards, practical exams and final board exams. There were many reports of entire schools getting similar marks in the objective exams. The 3-month delay in the term 1 papers also caused some tension within the student community, with many questioning the fairness of the results and the overall evaluation process of the Term 1 papers.

The weightage of the Term 1 & Term 2 has also not been declared. The board had previously confirmed that the weightage would be declared at the time of declaration of the term 2 results.

How To Think Like A Winner & Crack The IIT JEE Exam

Every person’s dream is to win and win big. It's obvious that no one wants to become a loser in any way. But to win, it is important to have a clear mindset and goal. To win, first we need to believe in ourselves and have trust in the potential we all possess. To become extraordinary, it is important that we don’t have to quit or give up on what we are looking for. Similarly, we all know that it is extremely difficult to pass the IIT JEE Exams, but if someone is determined to succeed, no one can stop them.

We all know that the syllabus for IIT & JEE is vast, so it is important for all students to work hard, but the most important thing is to work hard for the preparation of the exams by being stress free. Any work done without any kind of pressure will surely give fruitful results. In order to commence with the preparation, the students must also set a timetable to study for a fixed amount of time. In addition to this, the students should draught the timetable in such a way that they can devote their time equally to every subject.

After setting the timetable, it is necessary to commit full concentration to all the subjects. To avoid the wastage of hours, sheer concentration is highly recommended. With concentration, it's equally important to get the help of your mentors or teachers as they are the real guides towards your road to success. A mentor will be able to help by revealing the areas where someone is lacking and by knowing their weaknesses. The students must try to analyse their weaknesses and should try to fix them for true devotion to crack the exams. It is the preparation that will be reflected in the results and not the marks, so the students should show their dedication towards their preparation.

After obtaining the guidance from mentors, the students need to make sure that they underline or circle the main points for regular revisions. Studying at regular intervals leads to better understanding and, therefore, leads to a decline in stress and fatigue levels. With these things, students must make sure that they try their level best to complete their syllabus on time. Students must make sure that they should get a proper sleep which would help them to have better concentration on their studies. Eating healthy food and being optimistic would derive to fruitful results. Students should also make sure that they should work smartly to achieve their goals and strategies in an easy way and by following these guidelines would certainly help all the students to crack the IIT & JEE exam in a confident manner.

Are Competitive Exams the Best Way to Judge Merit?

Exams have always been disliked by most students. Exams are a part of the students’ journey to evaluate their best potential and skills. However, exams are always perceived as a source of fear and frustration. But it’s a hard thing to accept that all the competitive exams are significant to test the knowledge of every child. The educational sector was highly affected by the outbreak of COVID-19 in many countries. With the transition of the learning process from offline to online mode, it was easy for so many students to cheat on their tests and assignments.

As a result of this situation, competitive exams have become the only way to assess students' potential for upskilling. The purpose of conducting such exams is to evaluate the student’s knowledge and skills and also to enhance their revision skills. In today’s time, the elementary and primary schools have started encouraging children to participate in the competitive exams that are being conducted by private organisations or government bodies like Olympiads, NTSE, NMTC, and others. With the students getting the experience of competing in such competitive exams, it would help them to honour and boost their credibility and skills.

Competitive exams are a way to prepare students for their upcoming challenges and to choose the most qualified and deserving people for various purposes. Although competitive exams are tough, they also provide various advantages to students, such as organising their studies in a planned manner and learning time management. The government has made it mandatory for students to appear in competitive exams like CUET, CAT, JEE, and NEET. It is only after clearing such exams that students will be able to get admissions into prestigious colleges.

With the early exposure given to the students in their schools, the students will be able to ace the exams easily and will also stand out from others on the same floor. Nowadays, to get a good job as well, people have to appear in some competitive exams like UPSC, Civil Service, and aptitude tests to get the desired position they aspire for. The prime objective is to check the understanding of the application of concepts and the skills a person possesses, which would help to choose the deserving person for the required position.

Through competitive exams, the students would also be able to choose their interests, which would help them to decide their career streams and would also develop a practical and analytical approach and deeper knowledge of subjects. Competitive exams are also taken as a measure to provide financial assistance like scholarships, awards, and rewards for their amazing results, through which they would also be able to get admission to their required institutions. Competitive exams also work as a medium to serve as feedback to all the students, through which they get to know how many skills they lack and what the areas they need to focus on. Through competitive exams all the persons will be fairly assessed and would not be deprived of the available opportunities.

Master Mental Resilience to Crack Competitive Exams (IIT JEE, NEET, SSC)

Why Is Mental Resilience Most Important for Exam Aspirants?

Mental resilience is the ability to bounce back from adversity. It is important for exam aspirants because it helps them to stay focused and not get distracted. It will be difficult for anyone to achieve success in their exams without having mental resilience. This is because of the various emotional challenges that an individual may face during the exam preparation process. These challenges are likely to affect their performance in exams.

Winners have strong conviction and mental resilience. A winner is someone who will do anything to achieve their goals. They are not afraid of failure, and they don't let fear stop them from taking risks. They have a strong sense of self-belief, and they know that they can overcome any obstacle that comes their way. Winners also have persistence, which means that they can bounce back from any setback or failure. They know how to stay focused on the long-term goal, instead of getting caught up in the immediate obstacles that come their way.

Consider Failures & Setbacks as Milestones for Your End Goals (All India Ranks / Percentiles)

It is important to learn from failures to better our chances of success. The learning process is what makes us successful, not the result. It’s a process that we need to embrace and make sure we don’t shy away from the opportunity to learn more. Failures are milestones for success, and they are an important part of the learning process. We should not be afraid of them but instead embrace them as an opportunity to grow and learn more about ourselves.

For every bad test / score, if you take it as an opportunity to improve you are only getting closer to your dream. I always wanted to go to a prestigious college, but I was not sure which one. I applied for many colleges and got rejected from all of them. I was so discouraged that I just stopped trying, which in turn led me to not have any motivation or ambition in life. I then had a change of heart and decided that even if it took me years, I would apply for as many colleges as possible until one accepted me. And finally, on my third attempt, one of the colleges accepted me! It was a great feeling knowing that all my hard work paid off and that if

How To Manage Exam Anxiety / Stress for Competitive Exams?

Exam anxiety is a natural response that occurs when we are about to take an important exam or test. It can be so intense that it can affect our performance on the exam. There are many ways to manage exam anxiety and stress. The first thing you should do is try and identify what causes your anxiety. Once you find out what triggers your anxiety, you can start working on strategies to manage it better. Below are some ways to ease your tensions

1.      Stop Obsessing Over the End Goal: try not to think about your All India Rank / college, rather enjoy the process of studying for the exam. Relish the feeling of absorbing new pieces of information which is helping you get better prepared for the entrance exam

2.      Meditate Regularly: The benefits of meditation are well-documented. It can help you to feel more relaxed, relieve stress, and even improve your memory. But a lesser-known benefit is that it can also help to ease exam anxiety. Meditation is a mental health technique that involves focusing on the present, letting go of thoughts and worries about the past or future, and achieving a state of deep relaxation. When we meditate, we practice mindfulness - paying attention to our thoughts and feelings without judging them - which can help us learn how to regulate our emotions more effectively. Since stress is one of the most common causes of exam anxiety, meditation can be an effective way to reduce this feeling before an exam. It has been shown that those who practice mindfulness before an exam have reduced levels of cortisol in them

3.      Exercise Regularly: Exercise is a proven way to reduce stress and anxiety. It releases feel-good neurotransmitters and hormones that make you feel better. It also helps your brain work more efficiently, increasing your ability to recall information. Exercise has many benefits for the mind. It strengthens the muscles in the body, improves brain function, and boosts mood by releasing endorphins. Exercise can even help with anxiety by releasing natural chemicals like dopamine and serotonin which can combat symptoms of depression or stress. Exercise can be used as a treatment for many mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia, dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease.

4.      Prepare Hard: The only thing you can do to succeed in the exam is to work hard and prepare for the exam. Rather than becoming anxious about the exam day or your result, it will be the best use of your time by preparing for the exam itself. By refocusing your energy into actual work for the exam you are not only avoiding negative thoughts, but you are also increasing your likelihood to succeed through sheer determination and hard work. Whenever you get a negative thought related to the exam, open your book or give a mock test and start analysing what you need to do in order to improve!

Why Are Mock Tests Essential During Your JEE Mains Preparation?

One of the most important aspects of preparation for JEE Mains is to practice mock tests. These tests are essential because they help you gauge your strengths and weaknesses in each subject, which will help you focus on areas that need improvement. Mock tests also give you an idea about the time management skills that you need to have during exam days. They also allow you to get used to the exam environment, which can be helpful during the actual exam day. Mock tests are also a great way to assess your progress. You can use them to see how much you have learned since your last test, or how much you need to improve before taking the real test. Mock tests are also a good way to get feedback on what you are doing wrong and what needs more work.

The best way to prepare for JEE Mains is by practicing as many mock tests as possible, as it will give you a better understanding of your strengths and weaknesses in different subjects and help you develop strategies for tackling them during the actual exam day.

Mock Test Taking Strategies for The JEE Mains Exam

1.      Make A Mock Test Plan: It's important to plan because you'll be able to prepare better for the exam. Create a timetable / plan for daily or weekly mock tests (for e.g., 5-chapter wise mock tests per week and 1 full length mock test per month) and ramp it up as you approach the exam

2.      Continuously Monitor Your Performance: Performance monitoring is important while giving mock tests because it helps create a more accurate assessment of the candidate’s skills and knowledge. Performance monitoring should be done to make sure that the assessment is as fair as possible. It also helps to identify any gaps in the knowledge of the candidate. This will help you identify where they need more training, what they are struggling with and how to improve their performance.

3.      Take Breaks In Your Mock Test Routine: Do not overburden yourself with weekly / daily tests. Take a few days off from your schedule to reflect on your preparation journey and give adequate time to concept revision as well

4.      Benchmark Your Performance with Peers: Make a study group and track how you are performing as compared to them. Healthy competition will keep you motivated

5.      Don’t Neglect Revision & Studying Key Concepts: While giving mock tests is important, students should not purely focus on them to crack the JEE Mains exam. Revision is a necessary part of learning. It helps you to check your work and make sure you are on the right track. Your brain’s ability to absorb and retain knowledge also impacts your test taking skills (the brain is a muscle which keeps getting stronger with different types of stimuli)

6.      Train Your Brain To Be Most Active During The Actual Timing Of The Exam: By consistently activating your brain at the time when you will be giving the actual exam, you will be able to be better prepared than most aspirants. For e.g., if you are going to give the JEE exam in the morning slot (10:00 AM - 1:00 PM) train your brain to be giving tests at that time by modifying your sleep schedule, test taking times etc.

What Are Reward Based Mock Tests?

In a reward based mock test, students are rewarded with points for each correct answer and penalized for wrong answers. This motivates them to study more and try their best because they want to earn as many points as possible.

Gamification is a way of using game design elements in non-game contexts to make them more engaging, motivating, and fun. It is widely used in the education sector to foster engagement with students and help them learn more effectively. The use of gamification in education has been seen as a powerful tool for teaching and learning. The benefits of gamification are numerous, including increased student motivation and engagement, improved performance on tasks, increased creativity, enhanced collaboration skills and teamwork abilities.

Rewards are a powerful motivator for students, but they can also be a distraction. They may not always help students learn better. Studies show that rewards have the potential to improve student performance on academic tasks. But when rewards are used as a motivational tool, they can distract from the learning process and lead to a decline in long-term motivation levels.

Best Strategies to Win In Trivia Games

The best strategy for winning in trivia games is to study the material before you play. This will allow you to answer more questions correctly and increase your chances of winning. When playing, it is important to pay attention to what the host asks you. If they ask a question about a topic that you know nothing about, it's best not to guess unless they say that guesses are worth one point.

Practicing topics can help you win trivia games. It is not the only thing that helps, but it does make a difference. The first step is to find out what topics are popular for the game you are playing. For example, if you are playing Jeopardy! then some of the top categories are Science and Technology, Sports and Recreation, Geography, and Entertainment.

The second step is to practice those topics in order to know them well enough to answer questions quickly.

The third step is to take advantage of your knowledge by making educated guesses when you don't know an answer.

The fourth step is to be aware of what other players are doing so that you can think about how they might answer the question before it's asked.

The court also said that any game that is not dependent on chance can be considered as a game of skill. The court made this ruling in response to the petition filed by Unibet, an online betting company. All trivia-based games are purely dependent on a user’s skill in a game and are deemed as legal in the country (barring 4 states which have their own regulations on the same)

Gaming has changed drastically in the past few years. With the advent of real money gaming, people have been able to play games for stakes that are much higher than what they were before. This has led to a change in the internet economy as well. The internet economy is defined as “the totality of economic activity that takes place on the internet” according to Wikipedia. It includes services, goods, and content that are traded or sold over the web. The internet economy is worth trillions of dollars a year and it is growing at a very rapid pace with more people joining every day. With real money gaming, there are two main types of transactions happening - wagers and winnings. Wagers occur when players put their money on a game or competition with hopes of winning more than the put-up amount. Winning is the outcome from the competition and may be higher or lower than the wagered amount

Topper Secrets On How To Achieve A JEE Advanced Rank Below 1000

1.      Planning Your JEE Journey: A proper study schedule can help a student to balance their time and prepare better for the exam. The best study schedule should be planned according to the student's availability, strengths, weaknesses, and goals. A good study schedule is not just about what you do but also about when you do it. It can make a huge difference in your performance. Start by creating a structured plan by week & month on what you will achieve, how you will track progress. Also give time for revision, practice and proper reviews to understand where you are lagging. Having a solid plan in place with appropriate checkpoints and buffers will set you apart from the others in the race

2.      Stick To Your Plan: Consistency is important when preparing for IIT JEE. This will help you to keep up with your studies and improve your performance. It may also help you to avoid stress and anxiety. It is important to stay consistent in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle, which will be beneficial during the exam period. You should try to study at the same time every day, eat healthy meals at the same time every day and get enough sleep every night. Maintain a routine and allow yourself to deviate in it from time to time (i.e., give time for breaks in your schedule and take a few days off from time to time to focus on the larger picture to stay motivated)

3.      Curate A Group Of Like Minded JEE Aspirants Who Are Ambitious: A study group is a group of students who get together to study for a common exam. This is especially helpful for competitive exams like the IIT JEE. The benefits of having a study group are that it provides motivation and support to the members, and it also helps them with their weak areas. It also helps them develop their communication skills as they have to work together to solve problems. It is a common belief that competition should be avoided. This is because it might lead to anxiety and stress. However, this is not the case always. When competition is healthy, it helps you set higher goals for yourself and stay motivated.

4.      Analyze & Review Your Performance: Performance analysis is a way to measure how well students are doing in relation to their peers. This can be done by looking at the grades of the student and comparing them to the grade distribution of their peers. You should also look at areas where you are weak / make mistakes and take time to focus on them. Create a structured excel sheet monitoring your test scores and progress over time. Chart out where you need to focus more and regularly track how you are doing in those areas

5.      Take Tests Like Crazy: Mock tests are a good way to prepare for the IIT JEE exam. It is important to take mock tests for the entire duration of your preparation. The more mock tests you take, the better your chances of success in JEE will be. Mock tests are important for students because they provide a very realistic experience of what the actual exam will be like. They help you prepare for the exam by testing your knowledge and understanding of concepts. It is important to take mock tests as these are a great way to gauge how well you have done in your studies and if there are any areas that need more focus.

IIT JEE Is Not The End Of The World. Give It Your Best Shot & Don’t Worry Too Much

It might seem like a daunting task for most students, but it does not have to be that way. All you need to do is give it your best shot and don’t worry too much about what happens next. There are many successful people who never made it to an IIT and there are many unsuccessful people who have passed out from the IITs. Give the exam your best and avoid running after an end goal without really enjoying the process

PIB Confirms Fake NTA Circular Related to NEET UG 2022 Delay

In a new twist to the existing debacle between students and the NTA, a fake circular claiming that the NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) UG has been delayed to September 2022 was shared across social media. The Press Information Bureau (PIB) confirmed that the circular was fake, and that the exam will be held as per the date declared by the National Testing Authority (NTA) – 17th July 2022.

This is coming after lacs of medical exam aspirants have been urging the authorities to delay the exam given the overlap / closeness to other key exams (CBSE Boards, CUET & JEE Mains). Several movements have emerged across social media with hashtags such as #NTAdelayNEETUG, #JUSTICEforNEETUG, #DelayNEETUG trending on twitter with more than 14 lac shares.

Given that the NTA has remained hush on the issue, it is likely that the exam will be held on 17th July itself. The body will be releasing the admit cards soon which can be downloaded from the official website: www.ntaneet.nic.in

Here Are Some Important Tips to Keep In Mind While Preparing For The SSC CGL Exam

The SSC CGL exam is a computer-based test that measures the candidate’s ability to apply general knowledge and intellectual skills such as reasoning, verbal ability, quantitative ability etc. The exam consists of 100 questions, each with 4 options out of which one is correct. Candidates should keep in mind that they will have to answer all the questions in 90 minutes. They should also note that there are no negative marks for wrong answers and the answer sheet can be used any number of times.

The best way to prepare for this exam is by practicing on mock tests, solving previous year question papers and by taking online courses from experts in the field.

Aspirants should keep in mind the following while preparing for the exam:

1.      Focus On Key Topics for The Exam: The main point of prioritizing is to ensure that you are focusing on the information that you need to be successful. You should prioritize topics based on how important they are, not just how much content there is about them.

2.      Practice PYQs: It is important to practice previous years questions for an exam because it helps you get a better understanding of the content and format of the exam. It also helps you understand what kind of questions could be asked on the exam so that you can prepare for them.

3.      Focus On Mental & Physical Health: It is not uncommon for students to put off taking care of their mental and physical health until the exam is over. However, this can be a huge mistake. Students should take care of themselves before an exam because it can help them avoid burnout, which can lead to poor performance on the exam itself. In addition, poor mental health before an exam can lead to lower grades and lower self-esteem. Furthermore, if a student has chronic illnesses such as diabetes or asthma, they should make sure they are taking the necessary medications to prevent complications that may arise during an exam.

4.      Give As Many Mock Tests as Possible: Mock tests are a great way to prepare for an exam. They can be used to assess the students’ knowledge and skills and help them identify their weaknesses and strengths. This way, the students can prepare better for the actual exam. Moreover, it helps them understand how long they should spend on each question so that they don't run out of time during the real exam.
