Shifting Focus from Board Exams To CUET, JEE & NEET Is Leading to Increased Focus on Coaching & Open Schools

The governments decision to focus on entrance exams (such as CUET, JEE & NEET) has led to the mushrooming of specialized coaching institutes and open schools across the country. Parents feel that students should be enrolled in institutes where they can be trained for the exam of their choice. With major universities across the country now focused on an entrance test (CUET being the latest addition for major universities such as DU, JNU, AU and many more) the trend serves as a tail wind for the already growing test preparation market in the country. Special schools allow students to dedicatedly focus on an entrance exam without allocating much time to the traditional course / boards syllabus (this is similar to the open schools which are prevalent in major coaching hubs such as Kota & Andhra Pradesh)

The CUET which now serves as a major entrance exam for undergraduate admissions into key central universities, tries to solve a major problem in the Indian education system – the reliance on board exams with unnaturally high cut-offs. The solution however replaces the old problem with a new one – private coaching / open schools which may end up replacing the traditional institutions in the country. Major schools across the country have raised this issue and have pointed out that this may hamper the all-round development of students and place their pedagogy in the hands of private bodies which are profit driven.

Top educators are also criticising the governments decision to create so many entrance exams. They feel that the overall education system in the country will become like a “Kota Factory”. This development also comes at a time when post pandemic education needs to be optimized for cost and parents are increasingly focused / worried about efficient allocation of their education budget towards a bright future for their children

National Exit Test (“NeXT”) for MBBS Students to Be Implemented by Centre From 2023

The Indian government will most likely introduce a new exam “The National Exit Test” or “NeXT” for final year medical students from 2023. The test will serve as a basis to obtain a doctor’s license and will also serve as a merit-based allocation for post graduate degrees in medicine. With the introduction of the exam the centre is likely to do away with the NEET PG exam.

The process for admissions to undergraduate degrees is likely to remain the same, with the NeXT serving as a test to officially obtain a license / charter to practice medicine in India. The government plans to mandate the exam (NeXT) in all medical institutions of the country (including the prestigious All India Institutes of Medical Sciences – AIIMS). The idea is to introduce a common pedagogy or standard of practicing doctors in the country.

While the specifics of the exam are still being worked out, it is likely to be implemented for the graduating class of 2023. The proposal for the exam was tabled through the National Medical Act, 2019 and was pursued by the national medical commission which was launched in September 2020

The current process of admission to post graduate medical courses is done through the NEET-PG (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test – Postgraduate) which is the modal exam to get admission into various post graduate Doctor of Medicine, Mastery of Surgery & diploma courses

1 Month to Go For IIT JEE and NEET: Things To Focus On In The Last Leg Of Your Preparation

What Are IIT JEE & NEET?

IIT JEE is a national level entrance examination for admission in engineering and architecture courses. NEET is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, which is conducted for admission to undergraduate medical courses in India. Both exams are conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and will be held in July 2022.

Engineering and Medicine are two of the most popular and prestigious professions in India. They are also the most sought after. Many of us have seen a lot of our friends and relatives get into these fields, but what is it that makes them so popular? These professions are highly paid, offer a lot of job security, and provide an opportunity for growth in the society. The engineering graduates from India can easily find jobs in their own country as well as abroad if they want to work there.

What Should Students Focus on In The Last Month Of Exam Preparation

The last month of exam preparation is a crucial time for students. It is the last chance to make up for any lost marks and to prepare for the final exams. But what should students focus on in this period?

Students should focus on their weakest subject. If they have been scoring low grades in a particular subject, they need to spend more time studying that area and not just try to cover up the weaknesses with other subjects. They also need to start making their revision schedule as soon as possible so that they can finish it before the final exams are near because it will be too hard then.

Last Minute Secrets to Success in IIT JEE & NEET: Mock Tests, Mock Tests & More Mock Tests

Mock tests are simulations of the actual exam. They usually have the same number of questions as the actual exam and are designed to be as like the actual exam as possible. Mock tests are a great way for students to get a sense of what it will be like on test day, and they also provide teachers with insight into how well their students can handle an exam. A mock test is very different from a practice test because it mimics the real thing. Practice tests are often not timed, or they have fewer questions than an actual exam would have.

While chapter wise mock tests are shorter and less time consuming, full length mock tests are more like the actual exam. Chapter wise mock tests generally have one or two sections at a time while full length mock tests have all four sections together. Chapter wise mock test is also shorter in duration, usually ranging from one to three hours while the full-length ones usually take an hour or two hours.

Mock tests are a great way to get your child ready for the big test. The earlier they can start practicing, the better. While it is important to understand the benefits of mock tests, it is also important to understand that they are not a replacement for regular study. Giving mock tests can help students feel more confident before taking the actual test. It also helps them realize what areas of study need improvement and what areas of study they are strong in.

What Are The 3 Things to Focus On Before The JEE & NEET

1.      Physical Health: The physical health of a person is important for their exam success. The physical health of a person is the state of being free from illness or injury and enjoying healthy physical functioning. Physical health is one of the most important factors in achieving exam success, as it improves concentration and prevents fatigue. To maintain a healthy lifestyle, it is important to have a balanced diet and exercise regularly

2.      Mental Balance: Mental balance is important for exam success. It allows students to stay focused on the task at hand. Students who are mentally balanced are more likely to get better grades in exams and have better career prospects.

3.      Revision: Revision is the key to exam success. It is important to revise what you have learned and identify any gaps in your knowledge. Create mind maps / smart notes such that you can review key concepts daily. Try to focus on areas where you are weak and can drastically improve your score.

How To Develop A Winners Mindset Before An Exam?

Developing a winner’s mindset might sound hard, but it is actually easier than you think! It all starts with your attitude towards the exam itself: are you going into it feeling prepared or not? If you have prepared adequately for the exam, then feel confident in your abilities.

Confidence is important to success in an exam because it allows the person to think more clearly and be able to concentrate on the task at hand. It helps them stay calm and be less stressed during the exam. If a student does not have confidence in their ability to do well on an exam, they are more likely to feel overwhelmed or anxious. This will lead them to do poorly on the exam because they are not focused on what they need to do, but instead thinking about how they will perform.

We need to change our mindset to change our life. Winners always think differently than losers and winners always act differently than losers. For example, winners always take risks while losers are afraid of risk taking. Winners never give up while losers give up easily. Winners are always looking for ways to win while losers are looking for excuses not to win. The same mindset is required for success in IIT JEE & NEET and is what sets apart the toppers from the rest

Top 3 Last Minute Tips to Prepare for JEE Mains

JEE Mains is the first exam in the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) series. It is a national level engineering entrance examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Here are some tips to help you prepare for JEE Mains:

1. Start early and make sure to take a break after every 3 hours of studying.

2. Take as many mock tests as you can, and do not be afraid to retake them if you think that your score has not improved significantly.

3. Create a study plan based on your strengths and weaknesses, and stick with it in the last phase of your preparation

Why Are Mock Tests Important for JEE Mains Preparation?

A mock test is an exam that mimics the real exam and is given to the students to prepare them for the real test. It helps them identify their strengths and weaknesses before they take the actual test. A mock test can be conducted by a teacher or by a student himself/herself. The former option is more preferred because it provides an objective assessment of the student's performance and helps him/her identify his/her strengths and weaknesses.

Mock tests are important for JEE Mains preparation because it helps students prepare well for their exams, identify their weak areas, understand what they need to work on, get used to taking tests, etc. Reward based mock tests are a type of practice test that can be found in many different types of courses. These types of tests are usually used to help students become familiar with the format and content of a test, as well as to prepare them for the real thing. The main goal is to make sure that students are confident enough when they take the real test, and so they do not experience any anxiety or fear about it. This type of practice test is also helpful because it allows students to get accustomed to taking timed exams, which is one of the most challenging aspects of many courses.

How To Manage Exam Anxiety Before the JEE Mains Exam?

To overcome exam anxiety, it is important to understand the causes of anxiety. There are various factors that lead to anxiety like fear of failure, fear of success and fear of being judged by others.

The first step in overcoming exam anxiety is to identify the cause. The next step is to come up with a plan for dealing with it. This plan should be specific and should include a list of things that you can do when faced with your fears. It should also include a list of things that you can do when faced with other stressful situations related to exams like anticipation, daydreaming, review time etc.

Physical health is important while preparing for exams because it can affect the level of our mental health. Physical activity helps to reduce stress, improve mood, and sleep quality, and increase energy levels. Physical activity also helps to improve brain function, memory, and concentration skills. People who are physically active are more likely to have a positive attitude towards learning and be more productive throughout the day.

Exams are a time when students are often under stress, which can lead to mental health problems. Students who are anxious about exams may have trouble sleeping, overeat or skip meals, and experience constant worry. Students with depression may feel sad or hopeless for weeks or months. They may also have other symptoms of depression such as low energy, poor appetite, and difficulty concentrating. A student's mental health can have an impact on their academic performance. If the student's mental health is not addressed early in the semester, it can become worse as the stress continues to build."

Research suggests that memory can be improved by playing these games because they involve thinking and recalling information from the past. A lot of people believe that playing trivia games can improve IQ. However, there is no scientific evidence to support this claim. In a study by the University of Waterloo in Canada, researchers found that playing trivia games might not help improve IQ. The research showed that people who played the game didn’t have any significant changes in their IQ levels or cognitive abilities. This is because people are not actively using their knowledge when they play these games, so they don’t get better at solving problems and answering questions on these subjects. This doesn't mean that playing trivia games isn't beneficial in some way though. Trivia games can be fun and help to build social skills and make new friends.

Can Trivia Like Gamification Be Used in Formal Education?

The educational system has been evolving over the years, with the introduction of new technologies and techniques. The use of gamification in education is one such technique that is gaining popularity. Gamification is a technique that uses game design elements in non-game contexts. It has been used in many areas such as marketing, healthcare, and education. Gamification has also been used to improve performance in formal education systems. This technique can be used to make learning more engaging for students and teachers alike by adding an element of competition and fun to it. In a study conducted by the University of Chicago and Duke University, researchers found that students were more likely to learn better when they were given rewards. The study took place in two different schools. The first school was a research university, while the other school was a public high school. In both schools, students were offered rewards for learning new information. The results of the study showed that students in both schools learned better when they were rewarded with a reward for their work.

The future of education will be gamified, and the game will be designed to teach students different subjects. Gamification is being used in the classroom to provide a more engaging learning environment for students. It can also be used as a method for teachers to assess student progress and identify areas of weakness.
