Pressure Mounts on NTA To Defer the NEET UG Exam: #NTAdeferNEETUG

Student opinion on deferring the NEET UG 2022 exam grows as students cite increasing stress and pressure due to early dates this year (NEET is usually held in September but this year it is being held on July 17^th 2022). The social media hashtag #NTAdeferNEETUG is gaining popularity with a number of aspirants taking to twitter to voice their concerns to the National Testing Agency

The overarching sentiment amongst aspirants is that since the class 12^th board exams will end on June 15^th, aspirants will only have ~1 month to dedicatedly prepare forNEET. Given that other important exams (CUET, JEE Mains etc.) are also scheduled around the same time, this has lead to tremendous pressure on aspirants. Other exams such as the JEE mains have also been postponed due to similar pressure by aspirants
