The NTA (National Testing Agency) will soon be releasing the JEE Mains admit cards. As per sources the admit cards are expected any time after June 10^th and are likely to be released on Sunday the 12^th of June (tentatively). The NTA has also released the registration forms for phase 2 of the JEE mains which is scheduled to be held between July 21^st and 30^th 2022.

Candidates will be able to access and download the admit cards on jeemain.nta.nic.in. The exam dates for JEE Mains 2022 session 1 are scheduled between June 20^th & 29^th 2022, the exam will be conducted across 501 cities in India and 25 centres overseas.

The NTA has also released guidelines related to the exam: students need to reach the exam centre at least 90 minutes prior to the exam and carry their admit card / hall ticket.

NEET UG 2022: ADMIT CARD EXPECTED BY END JUNE

The NTA (National Testing Agency) will soon be releasing the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2022 admit cards. Candidates can check and download their admit cards at neet.nta.nic.in. While the date of the exam has been set at 17^th July 2022, the NTA is known to release the admit cards 15 – 20 days prior to the exam.

Indian Supreme Court Agrees To Hear Special Plea Seeking “Stray Round” To Fill Vacant Seats In NEET 2021 Counselling

The Supreme Court of India on Monday agreed to head a special plea by medical students seeking a special “Stray Round” to fill vacant seats in the NEET 2021 counselling. The plea was focussed on filling the vacant seats in the AIQ (All India Quota) in NEET 2021. While the petition was focused on NEET PG seats, it is unclear if the same will apply for NEET UG / MBBS seats.

While the courts are on vacation, a special bench consisting of Justice Aniruddha Bose & MR Shah requested the lawyers appearing on behalf of the students to file a copy of the petition to the MCC (Medical Counselling Committee), NBE (National Board of Examination) & the centre. The matter will be heard on June 8. The court also instructed that the notice be served to Ms. Aishwarya Bhati (Additional Solicitor General) who may get instructions on the matter

The petition was filed by Astha Goel, seeking a special stray round of counselling to fill the vacant seats left in the NEET 2021counselling. The petitioner had appeared for NEET 2021 under the AIQ rounds followed by the “Mop-Up” rounds and was unable to secure a seat. Meanwhile the NEET PG 2022 results have been declared and the dates for counselling are awaited

Andhra Pradesh Witnesses A Dismal Pass Rate of 67% In Class 10 Exams

About two thirds of the students who appeared for the class 10^th public exams in Andhra Pradesh have passed this year (~4.1 lac out of 6.2 lac). The results were declared on Monday, 6^th June and the statistics recorded were the lowest since 2007 where 73% of students had cleared the exam in AP.

The class 10 exams were conducted after 2 years between April 27^th and May 9^th. All students had been declared passed in the previous 2 years (2020, 2021) due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

With 71 schools in the state recording almost a nil pass rate, the government needs to take strong measures to improve the quality of teaching instruction in the state in order to better prepare children for higher education
