The states education minister (Botsa Satyanarayana) said
that special supplementary exams would be organized for unsuccessful students
between July 6th and July 15th. Other officials also
pointed out that “Realistic Evaluation” was done this time with a firm check on
malpractices which has clearly reflected in the results. With 71 schools in the
state recording almost a nil pass rate, the government needs to take strong
measures to improve the quality of teaching instruction in the state in order
to better prepare children for higher education
