The NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) was conducted a month back on 17th July 2022 by the NTA (National Testing Agency). While the NTA was able to release the official answer key for the JEE Mains in a much shorter turn around time, the same is not the case with the NEET. Various sources had expected that the official results would have been declared by now, but the delay in releasing the official answer key is impacting the same.
The NEET was
marred with issues / controversies this year from instances of cheating /
rigging to centre officials harassing female candidates. Many feel that the NTA
is taking time to release the official answer key due to the barrage of issues
it had to deal with related to the exam. Several student groups are also
conducting protests across the country against the authorities to conduct a
re-exam considering the issues which were faced by aspirants.
The official
answer key should be expected this week by aspirants. The NTA will provide a
window of 2-3 days for candidates to raise objections (if any). The official
results should follow after this. It is advised to keep a track of the latest
updates on the official website https://neet.nta.nic.in
The NEET
