The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has launched its 2022 counselling website for NITs, IITs, IIITs & GFTIs in India. Candidates who have qualified the JEEMains will be eligible to apply for counselling to the NITs, IIITs and various other GFTIs. Candidates who have qualified the JEE Advanced will be eligible to apply for counselling to the IITs.
The
counselling process on JoSAA will involve 6 rounds followed by 2 special rounds
(conducted separately by the Central Seat Allocation Board – CSAB). Additional
details will soon be available on the official website https://josaa.nic.in/
The JEE Mains
is a national level entrance exam for admission into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs in
India. It is also the precursor to the JEE Advanced which is used for admission
into the IITs. This years JEE Mains was conducted across 2 phases over the last
few weeks and had close to a million applicants. ~2.5 lac aspirants have
qualified for the JEE Advanced which is scheduled for August 28th,
2022.
