Does MIT Allow Double Majors?
Students with a cumulative GPA of at least 4.0 who
wish to double major are permitted to do so at MIT (students with lower GPAs

stated major. Approximately 6% of undergraduate students at MIT are enrolled in
a second major for the 2020–2021 school year.
Students must complete the GIRs in addition to the
