JEE Advanced 2022: Previous Years Cut-Offs, Trends, Latest Updates

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) will be announcing the cut-offs and the results for the JEE Advanced 2022 shortly. The window to raise objections to the official answer key was closed yesterday (4th September 2022). JEE Advanced 2021 Qualifying Cut-Off (Minimum Marks In Each Subject)

·         Common Rank List: 6

·         OBC – NCL: 5

·         Gen-EWS: 5

·         SC / ST / PwD: 3

·         Preparatory Course Rank Lists: 0

JEE Advanced 2021 Qualifying Cut-Off (Minimum Aggregate Marks)

·         Common Rank List: 69

·         OBC – NCL: 62

·         Gen-EWS: 62

·         SC / ST / PwD: 34

·         Preparatory Course Rank Lists: 10

What Are The Key Factors Affecting The IIT JEE Advanced Cut-Offs?

·         Number of test takers (~1.6 lac). Lower number of test takers this year may lead to an decrease in cut-off

·         The Number of seats available this year (~17,000). There has been a slight increase in the number of seats which may lead to a decrease in cut-offs

·         JEE Advanced 2022 Difficulty Level. This year’s exam was rated between moderate to difficult. This may lead to lower overall score cut-offs this year

JEE Advanced 2022 Important Updates 

·         The JEE Advanced exam was conducted on 28th August 2022 in CBT format.

·         The answer keys were made available on 3rd September 2022

·         The window to raise objections to the official answer key was closed on 4th September 2022

·         The official results are expected anytime now
