This year’s cut-off for the NEET exam has hit an all time low for both reserved as well as unreserved categories.

Gen & EWS: 715 – 117 (vs 720 – 138 last year)

OBC, SC, ST: 116 – 93 (vs 137 – 108 last year)

Gen / EWS PwD: 116 – 105 (vs 137 – 122)
This years top 4 rankers scored similar scores (715)
but did not share the top spot (separate ranks were decided based on the NTA
tie breaking criteria). A variety of factors (subject wise marks, incorrect
responses etc.) have been used to compute the NEET ranks. This year’s topper
(Tanishka) hails from Haryana and was a student of Allen Career Institute.
This year’s NEET exam saw more than 18 lac applicants
(56%+ being girls). Female applicants who qualified the exam outnumbered males
by ~1.3 lacs. The NEET is a national level entrance exam for admission into
MBBS and BDS courses in India. The exam is conducted by the NTA (National
Testing Agency)
