The ongoing communal unrest in Rajasthan has led to the imposition of Section 144 across several districts in the state. The authorities have suspended telecommunication across the state due to ongoing situation in the state. Communal tensions have gripped Rajasthan following the death of a tailor in Udaipur after he was allegedly beheaded by two other men over a social media post. According to media reports, the victim wrote and shared a post on social media in support of BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma
Rajasthan is a major hub for competitive exams
such as JEE, NEET, SSC etc. given that the exam is being conducted across the
state, students may face transport or logistical issues in reaching the centre
(especially if they are appearing from Udaipur). Students appearing in Jaipur
or Kota may not face issues given that law and order situation is in control in
these cities
The
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is a national level engineering entrance
examination in India. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for
admission into NITs, CFTIs and other reputed engineering colleges in the
country. It is also a pre-requisite to appear for the JEE Advanced which is the
entrance exam for the prestigious IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology)
