The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) mock seat allotment has started, and the second-round mock allocation list will be released on the official website https://josaa.nic.in today (20th September 2022). Candidates need to be aware that this is an indicative allotment, the official first round allocation will be declared on 23rd September 2022.
Candidates
are allowed to fill as many choices as per their preference in this year’s
counselling. Post filling of choices, candidates need to lock their preferences
to be considered for the seat allotment process (the portal will auto consider
your last saved choices in case you fail to lock your preferences before the mandated
date / time)
The
Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is the main counselling authority
(setup by the Ministry of Education) to conduct the counselling for more than
114 technical institutes in India (IITs, NITs, IIEST, IIITs and GFTIs).
